We decided to move here to embrace nature on a 27 acre farm to roam freely and to live in a larger house.

Dragon Acres is a unique name. Does it have meaning to you?

My husband was born the year of the Dragon. Dragons are enthusiastic, confident and willing to take risks.

Is this your first time living on a farm and if so, was this always a dream of yours?

2021 was our first year on this farm however I come from running community gardens in Toronto for the last 6 years.

You seem to have an overwhelming passion for culinary arts. Where does this stem from?

I started loving unique varieties of produce when High Park Nurseries sponsored our gardens and provided us with culturally diverse seedlings in Toronto that I nurtured to fruition.

What is your long term goal for Dragon Acres?

Our goal for Dragon Acres is to keep evolving and to provide unique ingredients to restaurants and residents.

Mechanical weed control
Four year crop rotations
Extensive use of cover crops
