WINTER
A perfectly-sized, gorgeous slate-blue kabocha-type squash. Deliciously sweet, dry flesh has a deep golden colour. Great for baking, roasting, soups, and more (we use it as a sweet potato substitute). Stores well. Can be started indoors 2-3 weeks before last frost, or direct-seeded after the risk of frost has passed.
